2. Scope

This policy covers this website and the Comment Assistant for TikTok, an application operated by Mahaon LLC for creators who have a service agreement with us.

3. This website

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit it, the server processes technical data such as IP address, date and time, and browser type in order to deliver the pages and keep them secure. We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website.

4. Comment Assistant for TikTok

A creator authorizes the application through the official TikTok login. After that, the application processes only:

• comment ID and comment text on the creator's own videos;
• the public display name and ID of the person who commented;
• the video ID;
• the access token issued by TikTok for the creator's account.

Purpose. To recognize comments that contain the creator's chosen keyword, to reply to them and, where TikTok allows it, to send the requested material by message. Every action is logged so that no request is lost.

What we do not do. We do not sell or share this data, do not use it for advertising or profiling, do not contact people who did not ask, and do not access accounts that did not authorize the application. TikTok data is used only as permitted by the TikTok Developer Terms of Service.

5. Where data is stored

Data is stored in a database operated by Supabase Inc. and processed on servers of Vercel Inc. Both act as our processors. Access tokens are stored encrypted.

6. How long we keep data

Comment data and logs are deleted after 90 days. Access tokens are deleted as soon as the creator revokes access or the service agreement ends.

7. Your rights and data deletion

You can ask us at any time which data about you we hold, and request correction or deletion, by writing to hello@mahaon.me. We answer within 30 days. Creators can revoke the application's access at any time in the TikTok app: Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services (or equivalent menu). If you are in the EU or EEA, you also have the rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16.

9. Changes

We update this policy when our services change. The date at the top shows the current version.
